Know what you eat, without the hassle
Foodtrack works out calories and macros from a photo of your plate, a description, a recipe link or a barcode. You check, the app remembers.
Foodtrack is in development and not yet available in the stores.
- No ads or tracking
- Data on servers in the EU
- Dutch food database (NEVO)
Logged in three steps
- AddTake a photo, type what you ate, share a recipe link or scan a barcode.
- ReviewFoodtrack shows the ingredients and amounts. Anything that is an assumption gets an orange mark.
- LogYour diary, goals and weekly overview update right away.
From photo to ingredients
Foodtrack recognises the dish, estimates the ingredients and amounts, and calculates them with real nutrition values. Something not right? Tap it, pick another product or change the amount. Your correction is remembered next time.
Home-made or ready-made? You choose, so ingredients only count when they are really in there.
Meal prep: the batch in, your portion out
Cooking for several days? Enter the whole batch and how many portions it makes. Foodtrack shows what is in one portion per ingredient. When you log, you only see your portion, not the whole pan.
Have roughly the same breakfast every morning? Adjust the amounts for the day without changing the recipe itself.
With a coach, if you want one
Link a coach with an invitation code and decide what they can see. Your coach can respond to a meal, a day or a week, and propose a plan that you accept or decline. You can withdraw the link, or parts of it, at any time.
More than logging
Scan barcodes
Scan a product or share a supermarket product link. Nutrition values come from a database, not a guess.
Same again?
Eat this often? One tap and your meal is in your diary, on the right day and at the right time.
Goals and advice
Set a goal with advice for calories and macros, based on calculation rules and your current intake.
Weight and measurements
Track weight and body-fat percentage and see the trend in a chart.
Works without signal
No connection? You can still log. Foodtrack syncs as soon as it can.
Apple Health (optional)
Pull burned calories from Apple Health, and choose whether your coach sees them.
Your data
Your data is stored encrypted on servers in the EU. No ads, no tracking, no selling of data. You can download everything or delete your account with everything in it, right in the app. Read the privacy policy.
Where do the nutrition values come from?
- NEVO, the Dutch Food Composition Database from the RIVM, is the basis for generic foods.
- Open Food Facts for barcodes and branded products (data under the Open Database License, ODbL).
- USDA FoodData Central as a supplement for foods missing from NEVO.
- Wikimedia for product images.
